Abyssborne is a dark fantasy roguelite that thrusts you into a shadowed, ever-changing dungeon, teeming with enemies, upgrades, and untold power.
As part of my Computer Science Bachelor's Thesis, I chose to design and develop a full-fledged video game from the ground up using Unreal Engine 5.4.4, and to publish it on Steam. This project showcases the full development pipeline: from ideation and procedural content generation to gameplay design, visual polish, and final deployment on the Steam platform.
- Procedural dungeon generation with unique layouts every run.
- Engaging combat with swordplay and magic abilities.
- Cryptic story revealed through collectible letters.
- Built with Unreal Engine 5.4.4 for stunning visuals and fluid gameplay.
- Final version tested, optimized, and released for Windows.
