These Rails sites use Fleximage. Please add your sites to this list with a brief description of your usage.

hirners.com runs on Rails since 2010. Fleximage is used for the property images in various sizes on nearly all pages.

    TheWineSpes uses Fleximage for all wine photos. It even adds little thing like scotch tape and a paperclip to make it work with their home page dossier. There is a really elaborate template here that renders all the details for todays wine in a single easily sharable image.

    A website I did for a local florist. The galleries are all Fleximage. She has lots of pictures of her work, but they are mostly taken by other photographers. This meant that each images needed to be able to handle a different copyright images. So the photo model has a copyright field that can be any bit of text. This gets written to the image, on top of a slight dark shadow for readability. Its a good example of how you can use information from your database in your rendered images.

    A site for a brilliant photographer. She wanted to be able to not have size all her gallery photos just right so Fleximage made it easy for her.

NECO.com uses flex image for all dynamic images. It has made management for our site a breeze for our marketing team. All featured images on the home page, performer images, venue images, etc are all done through flex image.

Fun Tourist Attractions is a new Rails-based site that showcases the top tourist attractions around the world. Fleximage is used for handling member profile pictures.

roadierage.com is an up and coming site that will be providing useful services for musicians and music lovers. The UI was done in Flex and the server side is Ruby on Rails. Beta testing for release one is happening through August, 2008 so you’re welcome to check it out using the password “beta”. Fleximage currently handles all artist profile photos and album photos.

symbolika.com is a visionary-psychedelic online gallery & shop. all the images in the shop are made from layers of the product elements (i.e. shirt, design, logo), allowing us to dynamically add or change new products, without the need to photograph everything again.
for that we used fleximage, which allowed us to keep the originals and re-process them when necessary. thanks ;)

Blitzkrieg is macedonian online magazine for extreme music. Fleximage is used for pretty much everything that is involving manipulation of images (photos, covers, avatars).

rotaville.com is rota management/employee scheduling software and we use Fleximage for resizing avatar images for both web and pdf use.
