QuantumHull is an open-source physics engine that calculates quantum particle interactions using Geometry and Vector Databases instead of traditional Feynman diagrams.
By treating particles as vectors in a high-dimensional positive space, we can wrap them in a geometric shape (a Polytope). The magic of modern physics (the Amplituhedron theory) tells us that the volume of this shape equals the probability of the quantum interaction.
No summing over infinite histories. No virtual particles. Just pure geometry.
For 70 years, physicists used Feynman Diagrams to calculate particle interactions. This required tracking every possible path a particle could take through time and space, resulting in millions of complex algebraic calculations.
In 2013, physicists discovered the Amplituhedron. This theory suggests that space, time, and quantum mechanics are actually "shadows" of a static, higher-dimensional geometric object.
QuantumHull applies this logic to a programmable "Vector DB" mindset:
- Particles are Vectors: Properties like Momentum, Phase, and Polarity become coordinates.
- The Constraints are Walls: The laws of physics (like Conservation of Energy) act as boundaries in "Positive Space."
- Interactions are Shapes: Connecting the vectors within these boundaries creates a multi-dimensional jewel (a Convex Hull).
- Probability is Volume: The geometric volume of the shape gives us the exact Probability Amplitude of the interaction.
You need Python 3.8+ and a few scientific libraries.

- Red Dots are your particle vectors.
- Blue Sheets are the facets connecting the interaction.
- The terminal will output the Probability Amplitude (the exact Volume of the shape).
QuantumHull treats quantum mechanics like a Vector Database:

Input Space: Photons are generated as coordinates in a strictly positive tensor space (
$x, y, z > 0$ ). -
Convex Hull Algorithm: We use
scipy.spatial.ConvexHullto "shrink-wrap" a boundary around the particle vectors and the physical constraints. -
Dimensional Projection: While the base code visualizes in 3D (Momentum, Phase, Polarity), the math seamlessly scales to
$N$ -dimensions.
This project is in its infancy, born from an amateur quest to build a quantum test stand. Here is where we are going:
- Phase 1: 3D Toy Model: Build the basic vector generator and Convex Hull volume calculator.
- Phase 2: Entanglement Logic: Introduce "locked" vectors where modifying Photon A instantly re-calculates the volume/facets for the entire shape, mimicking non-local entanglement.
- Phase 3: N-Dimensional Scaling: Expand the vector properties to 16D+ to accurately model true Quantum Electrodynamics (QED) parameters.
- Phase 4: Rust Port: Port the core volume calculation engine to Rust to handle the massive multi-dimensional matrices required for complex multi-particle interactions at high speeds.
- Phase 5: Real-World Test Stand Integration: Allow the software to ingest real coincidence-counter data from DIY Bell Test stands and map the geometry in real-time.
We are looking for anyone who wants to break the illusion of space and time! You do not need a PhD in physics to contribute.
