The next 1Password for Desktop stable release at the time of writing will ship July 14, 2026. This release will create a new alias for the MCP server,
1password-mcp, which will enable this plugin to support MacOS, Windows, and Linux.This PR updates the command in the .mcp.json and in our documentation.
