Error building site: failed to render pages: render of "home" failed

It's been a few weeks since Hugo stopped rendering the home page of my website ( https://mmnj.adv.br ) . I noticed the same error on a friend's website ( https://gomex.me ). In both cases, Hugo acts as if the index page file has not been rendered, and redirects to an empty page.

Just found a solution.

1. Open "index.html" and find the following code:

{{ $paginator := .Paginate (where .Data.Pages "Type" "post") }}

2. As seen here and here, .Data.Pages is now deprecated; site.RegularPages must be used instead.

3. Applying the substitution to the code above results in a new code:

{{ $paginator := .Paginate (where site.RegularPages "Type" "post") }}

4. Save the changes, and the pagination will work again.
