shift clicking items out of crafting grid

when shift clicking items out of the crafting grid it makes 1 item rather then the max amount it can make

Same problem. Shift-clicking the resulting item by the crafting grid should result in the max-craftable amount appearing in my inventory. Instead, a single item appears. The ingredients remain after the first shift-click, but upon a second shift-click, the ingredients are returned to storage.
