Feature: Option to allow shrink filesystem only (without touch partitions)

Would it be possible to add the functionality to shrink the filesystem without shrinking the partition table?

Context/use case:

• First I shrink the filesystem (EFI), then I create a raid1 (metadata 1.0; end of partition).
