Blue Shift and Opposing Force cannot launch "New Game" or "Training"

When I go to play Blue Shift or Opposing Force, the game launches, but the new game and training options are greyed out.

I have pushed a fix for blue shift and opposing force, but I don't think the opposing force weapons work in xash, it seems to require a custom binary to work.
