Binary distribution?

I'm very excited to use bpb! Also, I have had to upgrade my homebrewed rust, discovered that I need a nightly, installed rustup, installed a nightly, downloaded 40 cargo packages, and compiled 40 cargo packages.

I would love it if brew install withoutboats/bpb or something like that would give me a binary I could run, without needing to bootstrap an entire rust 2018 toolchain and compile for 15 minutes. 😅

I definitely agree it would be cool and convenient, but I don't personally have time to try to figure out how to get this into brew or any other distribution package manager (apt, rpm, pacman, etc). So I've tagged this help wanted: anyone who is interested in solving this has my full endorsement.

After hours of trying to figure out a Homebrew formula that depends on rust nightly, I think I'm going to give up for now. In the meantime, you could tag a release and have GitHub host this binary for macOS High Sierra?

Nevermind, while I was in the middle of writing that comment it actually finally worked. You can now install bpb on macOS High Sierra by running brew install indirect/tap/bpb. (Which installs from this binary release using this homebrew formula.)
