Read section 11.4.5 of the DECODE competition manual. Pay special attention to rules G424 through G427.

Refer to section 9.3 as needed for descriptions of the different zones.

In your engineering log:

  • Summarize the rules about when we would get a foul for being in the wrong zone
  • How does this affect driver strategy?
  • When should drivers go in zones where they could get a foul?
  • When should drivers try to bump an opponent robot to give the other team a foul?
