Feature Request: Advanced palette management (Save/Load, Supplier Templates, and Color Toggles)

Following up with another idea, I think it would be awesome to expand the current palette system with some advanced management features to make it more flexible.

Specifically, it would be great to add:

Save/Load Palettes: The ability to export and import custom color palettes.

Supplier Templates: Providing pre-made palette templates based on popular filament brands (e.g., Bambu Lab). Users could simply load a template and delete the colors they don't own.

Enable/Disable Colors: A toggle to temporarily disable specific colors within a palette. If a user runs out of a specific spool, they can just disable it so the app ignores it, without needing to permanently delete the #RGB data from their list.

Clone Palettes: A quick way to duplicate an existing palette for easy tweaking.

Just like with my previous suggestion, I would be very happy to work on this and submit a Pull Request if you think these would be valuable additions. Let me know what you think!

I want to make sure we are talking about the same thing, this is about the color palettes in the 2D mode right?

Right now you can already export and import custom palettes.

I think the clone palette and the enable/disable colors idea is great and would be a good addition.
I also like the supplier templates, we could organize them as json files in a dedicated folder so people could easily contribute more templates.

Ooops my bad, I didn't see the import/export buttons even though they are pretty visibile :/

For the other changes: I'll implement duplicate, enable/disable and add PLA Basic in a dedicated folder (maybe src/default_palettes or src/builtin_palettes)

Currently there is /src/data where we have this file

I actually forgot about it until I checked now. The grayscale palettes are auto-generated, which is why it's a typescript file.

You can add the palette there.

Oh nice! I'll add it there.
Maybe in the future a search box would be convinient (maybe even categories) but I dont think its needed right now.

Mmmh I was thinking, can we use the name Bambu Lab? Should I keep it generic? Do we need some kind of message saying that they hold the trademarks/copyright rights or something?
Probably just overthinking it though

I think adding a disclaimer would be best. Something like: This is an unofficial reference palette of Bambu Lab filament color names and hex values. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Bambu Lab. “Bambu Lab” is used only to identify the referenced filament products.
