Product Requirements Document (PRD): VibeCast Future Roadmap

1. Executive Summary

VibeCast aims to be the premier "lifestyle forecast" application, merging weather data with cultural context (music, fashion, dining). This document outlines the roadmap for transforming VibeCast from a prototype into a robust, personalized, and socially engaging platform.

2. Goals & Objectives

  • User Engagement: Increase daily active usage by providing personalized and socially shareable content.
  • Data Authenticity: Transition from mock data to real-time, accurate API integrations.

  • As a User, I want to see dining recommendations with real ratings and open hours so that I can make informed decisions.
  • As a User, I want my music suggestions to be tailored to my personal taste (e.g., Rock vs. Jazz) so that the vibe feels authentic to me.
  • As a Commuter, I want to see a 5-day forecast of "vibes" and outfits so I can plan my week.
  • As a Social User, I want to share a "Daily Vibe" card on Instagram to express my mood and surroundings.
