Youtube Error 153 on Capacitor

Hi,

Since YouTube’s recent update and the stricter enforcement of the Referer header requirement, I’m no longer able to use Vidstack within a Cordova application, as the Referer header is not being sent with the requests.

Is there a recommended way to handle this scenario with Vidstack (for example a configuration option or supported workaround for Cordova), or is this currently not supported?

There is also a post on the Ionic/Capacitor forums over here - https://forum.ionicframework.com/t/error-embedding-youtube-video-on-ios-18-and-above/249869. I hope we can figure out a solution for this as our Capacitor app is currently broken using the Plyr player.
