How to manage onAbort

I guess, managing onAbort is very important features in the production level. However, I coundn't find real working examples for this https://ai-sdk.dev/docs/advanced/stopping-streams#C2bcf146e-L8. steps are always [] which make me confusing how to manage partial messages as aborted by stop() on the client. It would be good to have onAbort example. (using v5 :))

i would advise upgrading to v6 & the useChat hook from ai sdk returns a stop() function that aborts the active stream. in v1 we wire it through the active chat context and call it when switching chats or when the user hits escape/stop. for custom abort handling you can use the onError callback in useChat which fires when the stream is aborted. also this is updated now so you can try https://chatbot.ai-sdk.dev/demo and let us know any feedback in #1464
