CAN bus support in VescTools6

Since VescTools6 I get the following message when trying to connect to a CAN bus :

CAN bus support is not enabled in this build of VESC Tool.

From what I understood there was a problem between serialbus and serialport so CANbus was deactivated.

Any update on a potential fix for this problem ?
My VESC are enclosed in a water tight compartment so CANbus is my only way to communicate with them and I'd love to use VescTools6 instead of VescTools3 (last version with CANbus still working) to try all the new features and bug fixes.

I think you can build the vesc tool with canbus support activated. But you have to build the vesc tool from source.
You can use this command:
qmake -qt=qt5 "CONFIG+=release" "DEFINES+=HAS_CANBUS" ../vesc_tool.pro
