Intercom Messenger not updating messages in real-time

Expected Behavior

The Intercom messenger should automatically refresh and display new messages when they are sent via:

• Intercom's web interface (agent sends a message)

Actual Behavior

Messages sent through external sources (backend API, web interface) do not appear in the messenger UI until:

1. The user manually closes and reopens the messenger
2. The app is restarted
3. The messenger is programmatically closed and reopened

This creates a poor user experience as customers cannot see responses from support agents in real-time.
