Date and Time

Hi,

My date and time isn't showing.

I have another issue which is regarding MySQL, the table portstats will store up a lot
of data within just a few mins of running this. How can I make it store all the table data of the topology I'm running in a log file or like a text file so I can view it separately and clears up or refresh the sql data when I run another topology, so I don't have a lot of data in the table portstats and other tables.

If you access the 'Traffic-Trends' page soon after the invocation, you may not show the result.
A way to deal with this problem is to pool traffic-data.

You might know already that. You can use 'tmrea send_packets' command to do it like following, if you're using Trema Network/Host emulator using '-c' option.

# trema send_packets --source host1 --dest host2 --n_pkts 10

NOTE: The parameters of 'host1' and 'host2' is names which is specified in the configuration of Trema.

And I couldn't understand the last half. In other words, do you mean that the graph data should be exported in the form of plain text or something?

I have tried to pool some traffic data first before accessing the 'Traffic-Trend' page but it still shows NaN/NaN/NaN Nan:NaN:NaN

I would also like to suggest that the 'Traffic Trend' shows which switch is transceiving or receiving so that we can be able to keep track each indivisual switch's data.

Absolutely, so I'll implement the function to export data which is displayed on. I added a ticket about this ( #10 ).

Yes, I also have thought that view of individual switches and ports need. I'll implement this ( #9 ).

I would also suggest that the 'Traffic-Trend' page has live updates for the data instead of manually refreshing it.

Also the 'Topology' would display the switch as red or remove it when the switch is killed or brought down.

It could also include tooltip when the mouse hover over the graph and it will show the switch information same with the topology and the links.
