Make sure you are setting YouTube to Optimal mode in uBO Lite popup dashboard

Warning

All comments about disabling any of the default filter lists will be removed.

Note

After each step, close your current tabs and open new tab to test again or it won't work.

• I have created a new browser profile with only uBO Lite and its default settings, and confirmed the issue still occurs in that new profile.

• I updated uBO Lite to the latest versions (2026.422.1301+) <- CHECK YOUR uBOL VERSION BEFORE COMMENTING PLEASE!!!!! IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO CHECK, PLEASE ASK!!!

• I have re-installed uBO Lite and I am using its default settings.

• I completely disabled ALL other extensions AND browser's built-in blockers. <== They might interfere with our solutions.

Some browsers with built-in blockers

• Opera, Vivaldi, Brave
• Edge: Click on "lock" icon at the left of URL bar -> Turn off Tracking Prevention

• I did not remove any of the default filter lists, or I have verified that the issue was not caused by removing any of the default lists.

• I verified the issue does not exist if I turn off uBO Lite.

Details

The error/issue: "We are experiencing problems with our servers. Please try again later." on the video, with no ability to play the video or interact with it. Notably, this is only an issue on "Optimal" mode and higher. "Basic" mode has no issues that I've found so far, other than causing some ads to appear on the YouTube homepage which has never been an issue on Optimal mode.

So far, this is the only YouTube video this is happening on. It was a livestream, and this error has been consistently present before, during, and after them going live. It is a members-only livestream, so I shouldn't have ads to begin with. If there's a way to disable per-channel, that would be great.

This has never been an issue before on any channel, and just started today. My filter lists, Chrome, and this plugin are up to date.

1. At youtube page that has issue, press F12 to open browser devtools -> Go to Console tab
2. Type

copy(yt.config_.EXPERIMENT_FLAGS)

then paste to https://logpasta.com/ and share the link here

3. Type

copy(ytcfg.data_.WEB_PLAYER_CONTEXT_CONFIGS.WEB_PLAYER_CONTEXT_CONFIG_ID_KEVLAR_WATCH.serializedExperimentFlags)

then share the result like step 2.

Same issue as @AnnaRoblox; the video plays if i force reload. And as someone mentioned in the main thread, there's no issue if I'm not logged in (to youtube).

the issue only happens if youtube refers you to the video if you change or delete the refereral header it loads the video normally
