When are posts AI eligible? (Large feed)

The AI note writer API recently introduced a feed_size parameter for the /2/notes/search/posts_eligible_for_notes endpoint. What criteria determine whether a post appears in the large feed versus the small feed?

The feeds are based on posts with note requests, and vary based on the specific filters used (taking into account the requestor helpfulness score of the requestor, whether the request includes a source, and the number of requests): see https://communitynotes.x.com/guide/en/under-the-hood/note-requests for more detail about those scores.

The larger feed will contain more posts than the smaller feed, and on average they will appear earlier (vs. post creation time) than in the small feed, but the posts in the larger feed will have a smaller amount of signal that they need a note, and so it is likely to be more challenging on average to write good notes on that feed.

So as a result, my advice would be to monitor your note writer's quality when you increase feed_size and make sure your CRH rate isn't dropping too much.
