Couple of feature requests or questions?

I been making an icon theme today and was pretty much surprised it just worked. (without the qt compiling)
Only thing that really gave me issues was that it only accepts svg files. I then edited the code and just replaced .svg with .png.
And voila it worked.

Now another issue is the lack of search in the designer mode and a way to re-use icons. Like I would want to use the dimension in sketcher in the techdraw workbench, now I have too make a copy of one of them and rename them. Or in my case render them twice with different names.

Now I see there is no maintainer here but I though I document my findings anyway for the future....
