Discussion about the radiative forcing models
Radiative Forcing side of Albedo:
- Albedo of various land surfaces + uncertainties
- Solar radiation data (incoming)
- DEM: -> terrain inclination (as input for a radiation model)
- Land surface map: for albedo values
- Cloudiness (maybe obtained from cloudiness)
- for a radiation model
- Spatial and temporal evolution of snow cover w & wo artifical snow
- LW radiation budget -> we change the shortwave but what about SW?
Radiative Forcing side of CO2:
- full C02 emission budget:
- energy needed for production (snow guns)
- installation of snow guns
- water (lakes / dams)
- snow redistribution (?)
- conversion model between CO2 -> delta RF (difficult topic: BUT there are some empirical formulas)
