Armor not displaying correctly on vanilla hands mode.

On all the latest versions, and any version above 1.20.x, armor on chestplates on vanilla hands mode display the sleeves of the armor too. There's no way to disable this, as the chestplate layer includes the sleeves and they are inseparable. PLEASE revert this back to the way it was. I don't want arms, nor do I want the sleeves.

On the latest version of fpm on 1.21.1, the sleeves are still showing

when I tried it on the latest version of 1.20.1, 1.21.1, and 1.21.4, it had the issue. I'm trying to send a screenshot but it keeps saying it failed to upload

I think I found out what it is. I have FA: Player Extensions as a resource pack, and disabling it fixes the issue. very unfortunate, but I'm wondering why downgrading the mod on 1.20.1 fixes the issue???
