Media controls on lock screen

Would it be possible to have the usual media controller widget on the Android lock screen?

I'm currently controlling the play of a video from my PC on my TV (works great, thanks!), and I see the controls in the app and they work OK, but if my smartphone locks the screen I don't have access to the widget on the lock screen as in other players.

I'm sorry if this is a noob question. But how are you controlling yaacc on the android device from your PC ?

In my case I'm using Gerbera as my media server and it doesn't provide any play/pause controls.

Hi, the Gerbera server on your PC should be visible in yaacc. (Of course all devices: your PC, your android device with yaacc installed and the TV has to be in the same network)
If your TV is a DLNA device, it should be visible in yaacc as a receiver. If so you can select it, content will now sent to that device.
After selecting your server you're able to browse the content and select it for playing. The TV is now receiving the content.
A player will then appear in the player tab with controls.
