Describe the bug

This bug was originally made on the Home Assistant Integration, but I was directed here.

The HA integration seems to not corrolate the correct drive data with the correct sensor.
My suspision is that this is caused by the api not giving the data in the same order.

I originally made the issue there since I believe the integration should map correctly regardless of order.

Could you show the differences you are seeing? Since you are running debian, can you also paste the results of:

system-bridge client data run --module disks

The new version does try to mimic the previous version, but there may be some subtle differences in the output between python and go

as you can see the different runs produce different orders of the disk. that's what made me suspect this was the issue (saw it initially in the web portal)

I see the same issue on 1 of my 3 systems integrated with Home Assistant via System-Bridge. See attached screenshots with the wrong order and correct order, and the output "system-bridge client data run --module disks" in the correct and the incorrect state.

I can even make System-Bridge switch from the wrong state to the correct, my reloading the System-Bridge integration for this specific server ('snake'). Also, if it's correct, and I reload the integration it changes to the incorrect order. And if I reloaded the System-Bridge integration for this server to correct the situation, it usually reverts to the wrong situation after several minutes (sometimes 15 minutes, sometimes more, I have not been able to find a pattern to that).

Correct order:

SystemBridgeClientDataRunModuleDisks-wrong.txt

The only thing I can think of that triggers this behaviour, is a CIFS mount in /etc/fstab of this server, specified by a line starting with two // signs:
//lion.local/Data /media/Data cifs guest,user 0 0

However, I tried removing that line, and stopping, uninstalling, reinstalling and restarting System-Bridge, and that did not solve the issue: it changed to the wrong order several minutes restarting it. So that seems to rule out this line as the cause of the issue?

I just noticed it happening with my other 2 servers too... Those do not have CIFS mounts, so that is most probably not the cause.

This is an issue on my servers as well. Data coming from the system bridge server looks correct, but happens to get mixed up in Home Assistant.

This may be related to too many disks being reported: #3672

My disk usages for actual filesystems are showing the 100%s of the /snap partitions, NOT the partial usage of the actual filesystems themselves.

I've got a couple of systems and the disk space used is rubbish. Even when not reporting 100%, the values returned do not reflect reality. system-bridge c d run --module disks shows the correct percentage but they don't make it into HA? Happy to help debug or create a separate issue and apologies if this isn't related.
