- Most valuable quadrant for long-term success
- Schedule dedicated time
- Examples: Planning, skill development, relationship building, exercise, strategic thinking
- Goal: Maximize time here for greatest impact
Interruptions, some emails, some calls
- Appears urgent but doesn't advance your goals
- Often someone else's priority
- Examples: Some meetings, certain emails, some phone calls
- Goal: Eliminate, minimize, or delegate

- Provides no value
- Pure time waste
- Examples: Mindless scrolling, excessive TV, trivial tasks, gossip
- Goal: Eliminate completely
