Feature Request to Add User groups #3780
Description
I propose extending the user management system to include user groups. User groups should have the same permission settings as individual users currently have. Additionally, these permissions for a user group should be able to be restricted to single, multiple, or all categories.
In the user management system, you simply select the desired user group for a specific user, and the associated permissions and categories will be displayed in the area where permissions can currently be selected.
This feature could, for example, restrict an externally commissioned content creator to a single (inactive) category, allowing their content to be reviewed and assigned later by a team or company member.
This would allow the FAQ administrator to customize the rights for new external users very individually, if they are automatically assigned to a user group like "New User".
