Integrate OpenTelemetry into unit tests

TUnit seems to have a very sensible approach to logging.

What is the story for Activity/spans and metrics? It would be very useful if the test output would contain an ascii art of the spans, tags, events and associated logs (and a possibility to use an external exporter). Is there any such thing in TUnit at the moment? In addition to inspecting the spans and tags, it would be nice to be able to write assertions on them as well.

Cool!! But that solves a different issue from the one I'm looking for.

My goal is to be able to write assertions on spans and metadata inside the tests. That would require some sort of per test collector, that this change does not help with.

Your addition also does not document how to make the default tunit logger hook into opentelemetry.
