Hiking & Trail Running Adventures

The line between hiking & trail running has always been blurry for me. I have a hard time classifying my adventures into hikes and trail runs.
I have had flat hikes averaging over 3 mph and steep runs averaging less than 3 mph. Usually, if my main objective is to go fast and light, I call it a run and everything else is a hike in my book.
I have been hiking regularly more or less since 2011. But recently I started dabbling in trail running in 2020.
Here are reports from some of my longer trail runs and some fun hiking adventures.
