Re-enable frontend authentication and add backend authentication

As an admin, I need to be able to log in to the application securely so that other people cannot access the UI or the API of the application.

Acceptance Criteria:

• The frontend authentication created in this ticket is re-enabled: https://app.zenhub.com/workspaces/ksf-5f23520d91f7ee00134cbaf6/issues/the-difference-engine/ksf/130
• The API rejects any call made to it without supplying a valid auth token obtained through the login process
