You asked in the HOWTO to be notified if we see any versions newer than 12.0.0.9860 in the wild. I've been looking for a 20702A3 driver (in the IOGear GBU521) and spotted 12.0.0.9980 here: https://www.iogear.com/support/dm/driver/GBU521 Dated May 2015.
