Can't install Maven SCM Handler for EGit with latest EGit

Hi, I have troubles installing Maven SCM Handler for EGit with latest m2e and EGit, but it seems that required version of EGit needs an update:

Eclipse Platform I20211004-2030 (4.22)
Java version: 11.0.12
org.eclipse.m2e 1.18.2.20211005-0719
org.eclipse.egit 6.0.0.202109292125

I'm having the same issue; Seems to be fixable by changing the version range for supported egit (as was done before in pull request #12).

But since it's about supporting versions 6.0.0.xyz I need to find out how to support such suffixes.

Well it's actually due to the change in egit from 5.0.0 to 6.0.0.
The current range of egit supported by m2e-egit is [3.0.0,6.0.0) (which means 3.0.0 up to but not including 6.0.0).

So the change in m2e requirements is simple: Change [3.0.0,6.0.0) to [3.0.0,7.0.0).
But I'm not sure if there are any breaking changes between EGit 5.x and 6.x; So far I haven't been able to find a changelog...
