Carousel Contrainer won't show Carousel items on backend

Since upgrading to 5.3.18 we can't see or add carousel items into a carousel contrainer. They will still be shown on frontend and also in list view.
There are no upgade options which should be done on wizzard.

Over Page:

Over Lists they still can be edited.

The issue was on extension "Container Content Elements" or "Content Defender" downgraded them from 3.1.9 to 3.1.0 and from 3.5.3 to 3.5.2. Now it is working again.
