newsslider not working - no "Swiper sider" tab

Hi,

My setup:
Typo3 12.9.4
bootstrap_package 14.0.7
introduction 4.6.1
News 11.3.0
numbered_pagination 2.0.0
newsslider 6.0.1

I would like to use the extension newsslider, but I cannot get it to work.
I do not get the extra "Swiper sider" tab appearing in the news list plugin.
I installed using the extension manager. I do not use composer on this installation.
I do not find a static template, is this correct?
I have not added any typoscript to the setup
I followed these instructions: https://www.t3sbootstrap.de/extensions/news-slider

Please can you help me get the slider plugin to work.
