Redesigned firmware for GNEISS sounding rocket on-board PCB. Manages Inertial Measurement Unit and Retarding Potential Analyzer (PIP) sampling, and non-blocking UART communication for in-situ E-region ion density measurements. All redesign work is my own, the basic structure of the code wwas designed by previous 317 lab researchers and can be found here. I also redesigned the testing pipeline and data visualization tools, and made significant contributions to fabrication.
