How long lives prefetched data?

Well, question is simple. Data from load functions may prefetch. So how long is life of this cache?
For example, I see on hover - data never expires unless I hover another link with prefetch. But this is not good, because it can save obsoleted data. So how can I control this duration? For example, next.js has options to control this

It does not look like it times out and there does not seem to be an option for this.

The documentation suggests switching the mode to tap instead of hover to prevent staleness.
