Please tell us about yourself (include an email address):
My name is Irfan Ahamed, a recent B.Com graduate from
Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, India. I am a student founder
building a free Islamic guidance app as my first startup
project. (Email : nowseenbegam@gmail.com)
Your purpose in using this API:
I am building "Hadith AI" — a free Islamic Life Guidance
app that helps Muslims solve real-life problems (anger,
betrayal, family conflicts, productivity) using authentic
hadiths from Sahih Bukhari. The app shows the relevant
hadith, a simple explanation, practical steps, and
recommends qualified scholars for complex issues.
This is a non-commercial student project with the goal
of making authentic Islamic knowledge accessible to
young Muslims in simple English.
API rate limits:
Maximum requests per second: - 1
Maximum requests per day: - 100
Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
API access is preferred, as the app fetches hadiths
dynamically based on user questions in real time.
However, an offline dump would also be acceptable
for the MVP phase.
What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
Arabic, English. Tamil in future versions.
What programming language will your API client be in?
JavaScript (React frontend, fetching via REST API)
