Please tell us about yourself (include an email address):
Zaki Sheriff - zakisheriff57@gmail.com
Developer of Al-Ilm, an Islamic knowledge assistant application.
Your purpose in using this API:
Building Al-Ilm (العلم), a web application that helps Muslims learn about Islam with authentic sources.
The app uses AI to answer questions, but I want to verify hadith references with your API to ensure
authenticity rather than relying on AI-generated reference numbers which can be inaccurate.
API rate limits:
Maximum requests per second: 2-3 requests/second
Maximum requests per day: 500-1000 requests/day (typical user traffic)
Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
API access is preferred for real-time verification of hadith references mentioned in user queries.
What are the languages in which would you like hadith data?
English and Arabic
What programming language will your API client be in?
JavaScript (browser-based React application)
