please keep libdjvu-based engine

I wonder if you've got my mail that lead to torrent. its content, for example NTC's New Japanese-English Character Dictionary.djvu, with size > 1 GB, it takes minutes to load before UI fully responding (I still use HDD) though at the end fail to render, tested with 19894. with 19835 and libdjvu it loads fine and fast.

@rach-md the official DJVU I believe may have been over 3 GB !! but there are many corrupt versions less than that so for example this bad dictionary is almost instant but then again is only 43.80 MB

So likely the issue is the size and running out of memory, not that we can't decode it.

I'll see if I can improve memory use for large files

drastically reduced memory use on djvu files so should work in next pre-release

thanks, now its able to open the djvu. still compared to older version with libdjvu, it takes few more seconds to open and noticeable high disk process show on task manager. at least now its working. congrats.

different issue I notice opening smaller djvus, size > 100 MB from what I have here, more pages loaded and memory usage keep growing.
