[feat] Display Name per Room

One thing in the spec that I sometimes use is the fact that you can have unique Display Names in each room you are a member of. I'd like to be able to set my Display Name in a room in addition to globally.

Not sure how that would impact fetching Display Name from the room list.

So that I understand more explicitly, you'd like the ability to set a name value on a room that doesn't write to the server's RoomSummary record? Effectively a per-user name override?

So the idea here is that I have a custom m.room.member entry for specific rooms where I want to show up in the room as I'm a doofus instead of Doofus Canadensis. At present, the only client I can find that supports this is Element Web with a /myroomnick <display_name> command.

It would appear that this is not actually in the spec but is discussed in matrix-org/matrix-spec#103

After clarifying discussion in the room, this is a request to set a room-specific user display name override. For example, if my account wide display name is "Link Dupont", add support to set the room-specific user name to something else (like "Lord Firepants").
