Start/stop is already requested, and probably will be added in the future; it's just not a priority for me, as I work on different projects. |

Since you added the ability to disable/enable rwv touch I've been using remote webview very successfully on 7 panels around my house. It works amazingly well and everyone loves it.
Currently after 30 seconds of no touch I slowly dim the screen to 40% and disable rwv touch so the dashboard is still (just) visible. On touch it then rapidly brightens the screen and enables rwv touch. This works well, particularly on the panels in the main rooms but now I want to do something a little different on the panels in the bedrooms.
For the bedroom panels I've written an LVGL clock screen so after 30 seconds instead of simply dimming to 40% it also displays a nice large digital "bedside clock".
I'm finding 2 difficulties:
Because rwv is still running in the background, whenever something updates on the dashboard this overwrites part of the clock screen with 1 or 2 "tiles".
When they touch to wake the screen I'm currently using the open_url function to refresh the whole rwv screen. That works but it's in-elegant and takes a couple of seconds as it's actually loading everything from the start rather than just re-displaying the current web page.
What I'm looking for is:
This would solve my current issues but I think would also be really useful for anyone who wants to combine rwv with LVGL pages on one device
