UX: the passphrase input thingy is not working

What happened

there is a window popup but it is unresposive. only Ctrl + C works that exits.

Even pressing Enter does not work

its the distro. for example the newer cosmic desktop will do stuff like that. try it with other distros. this is supposed to be a cli app anyway not a gui app. Of note- i notice cosmic will sometimes bring up the pop up for cli apps. But that just complicates things. a cli app should stay in the shell. also it is absurd that you did not say what os you are using, no no one is a mind reader.

@ratul-sendcloud that UI comes from your platform's pinentry binary, which rage is finding in your PATH. If you cannot switch to a working one, then set your PINENTRY_PROGRAM environment variable to the empty string, and rage will fall back on a direct CLI input UI.
