CLI models are not supported in daemon (chat requests)

Is it intended behaviour? The model picker in sidebar is still allows users to pick claude/codex but then it fails with Chat request failed: CLI models are not supported in the daemon, I wanted to fix that, but then decided to ask first if it's intended or not

Closing as duplicate of #109 so daemon CLI-model support is tracked in one place.

Reasoning:

• This issue reports the same user-visible failure: the sidebar/daemon path allows selecting CLI models but then rejects them with "CLI models are not supported in the daemon".
• daemon: Support CLI models in chat and agent endpoints #109 is the implementation thread for that exact problem. It routes CLI-transport models through the daemon chat/agent endpoints and includes the code/test discussion needed to review and land the fix.
• Keeping both the issue and the PR open for the same scope just splits review context.

I’m using the PR as the canonical thread because that is where the concrete implementation and verification live. If review changes the scope materially, we can always reopen or file a narrower follow-up.
