Great Extension! #18
Description
Thank you for developing -- and maintaining! -- this extension. I wish Moneydance would buy/license it from you and include its functionality as part of the base software package.
In using the official signed version (which I realize is older than what's available here), I ran into problems where imported transactions, even after I edited the description field, would not trigger Moneydance's "hey, this looks like a duplicate transaction, do you want to merge it?" functionality. Of course, the extension didn't create transactions that it determined were duplicates; the problem I ran into was when a transaction was a duplicate, but the extension didn't recognize it as such.
When I stumbled across the more recent github version, I tried it...and the earlier "not recognizing all duplicates" disappeared. Did you tweak something in the codebase, or am I seeing some kind of (useful) artifact?
Also...would you be willing to get Infinite Kind to include the latest version in the "official" extension library? I have to admit I'm a little nervous about using an unofficial piece of software in my financial recordkeeping system (i.e., Moneydance). No offense meant! Just paranoia.
If re-submitting the latest version is a matter of cost, I'd be happy to contribute to that. Or help in any other way that might be necessary.
