"cannot compare 17.28pt with 1.2em" error with custom header style

Adding a custom header style causes document compilation to fail with the above error.

I think this is related to typst/typst#1231 but it is beyond my current skill to suggest a solution.

Here's a minimal example.

Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately I don’t think this can be fixed. It looks like show rules are executed before their content is laid out, so even if we were to remove the 1.2em comparison the columns still wouldn’t line up because Typst hasn’t yet calculated the heading’s final size.

Your example would look like this.

You won’t get around calling lock manually, but you can make it a little easier by defining custom functions for the headings:

#let h3(it) = block(sticky: true, lock(heading(level: 3, it)))
