AlpsJacksonJsonHttpMessageConverter not use configured Jackson

AlpsJacksonJsonHttpMessageConverter should use configured jackson bean, instead it create a new instance with all default settings

Care to elaborate? This is a deliberate decision to guard the rendering of ALPS responses from customizations that users might want to apply to their JSON outputs. Those customizations might break the ALPS format.

if it was wanted the problem is elsewhere.
making POST with content-type: application/json it's correct that spring select AlpsJacksonJsonHttpMessageConverter instead of JacksonJsonHttpMessageConverter for parse REQUEST ?

in my case with jackson 3 i need to set fail-on-null-for-primitives: false, and the only way to do is to disable ALPS

ALPS should not be used only for RESPONSE ?

I think you run into an effect of GH-2533, which we fixed today. Any chance you can try the 5.0.1 or 5.1.0 snapshots?
