Bug: Visibility of Inherited/Inferred Sharing

Hi there!

Is the following behavior expected?

1. Create a Parent Container. E.g. parent/
2. Assign "Anyone" to "Viewers" section (Add "public" Read permission to Container)
3. Create a Child Resource. E.g. parent/child
4. Check Sharing permissions of Child Resource and find that Inherited/Inferred Sharing Permissions from Parent Container are apparently invisible in Child Resource's, although Child Resource should show "Anyone" by default, since parent was asserted as such.

And if so, wouldn't allowing for the visualization of inferred sharing permissions be incredibly valuable?
