Code of Conduct

Introduction

EarnEasy is committed to fostering an open, welcoming, inclusive, and respectful community. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for participants within the community, as well as the steps to report unacceptable behavior. We value contributions from people of all backgrounds and want to ensure a safe and harassment-free experience for everyone.

All contributors, maintainers, and participants in this project are expected to adhere to this Code of Conduct in all project spaces, including GitHub repositories, pull requests, issues, discussions, and any associated communication channels.

Our Standards

We commit to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • Using respectful and inclusive language
  • Being open to constructive feedback and different perspectives
  • Gracefully accepting criticism
  • Demonstrating empathy and kindness toward others
  • Acknowledging the contributions of others

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form

  • Trolling, insulting, or derogatory comments
  • Public or private harassment, including persistent unwanted communication
  • Publishing others’ private information without consent
  • Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behavior

Responsibilities

Project maintainers are responsible for:

  • Enforcing the Code of Conduct
  • Clarifying standards of acceptable behavior
  • Investigating and addressing reported violations fairly and consistently
  • Taking appropriate and proportionate corrective action when necessary

Maintainership does not imply immunity from this Code of Conduct.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all project-related environments, both online and offline, including:

  • GitHub repositories (code, issues, pull requests, and discussions)
  • Community spaces (such as forums, chats, or social media managed by the project)
  • Events or meetups directly associated with EarnEasy

Enforcement

Violations of this Code of Conduct may be reported confidentially by emailing:

All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and with discretion. The project team is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and safety of those who report incidents.

Enforcement actions may include:

  • A warning
  • Temporary or permanent ban from project spaces
  • Removal of contributions or comments that violate this code
  • Other actions deemed appropriate by project maintainers
