I am also interested in applying numerical optimization methods such as Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method to different geophysical problems.\nCurrently, I am working on applying MCMC technique to study the transient creep of olivine and to model simultaneous diffusion of multiple elements with different activation energy in olivine aggregates. In my PhD, I studied the transient creep of olivine and olivine bearing rocks using data from laboratory experiments.
