Shouldn't ffmpeg-normalize remove (or set to zero) the original ReplayGain tags in the file?

Describe what you are attempting to do
I have an audio file which already contains ReplayGain tags (it is a mp3 file), when I run ffmpeg-normalize the existing ReplayGain tags are copied to the new output file. Shouldn't these be removed?

Runing on linux with ffmpeg 8.0.1
