Webpack 4 & More!

Hey Eric, firstly, thank you a ton for taking the effort to write the medium article and get this repo together because it's been extremely helpful. I really appreciate it.

I'm (at similar bigCorp) now moving us onto a yarn-workspace lerna monorepo predominantly based in polymer 3. We've got some manual scripts to let us use the default polymer/tools-based build & serve, but these really aren't cutting it and certainly aren't resilient across platforms.

Is there any chance of an example w/ webpack 4, or guidance therein? I don't wanna make a promise I can't truly commit to, but perhaps if I get the time to get it working I could pr in an update or just a webpack4.md.

What problems are you running into? I'm thinking you can just use the same setup in this repo but replace webpack 3 with 4. I've done an example of polymer 3 with webpack 4 in another experiment of mine. Why don't you check out this repository? https://github.com/slanted/import.

Sorry its a little incomplete because I'm still testing out some of the async loading stuff, but its polymer 3 with webpack 4....
